We offer academic search for universities seeking academic staff and senior leaders up to Vice-Chancellor level. Additionally, our commercial experience equips us well to undertake assignments for general/corporate services roles within universities.

In executive search and board search, our experience lies mainly in the investment banking, financial services, energy, and property sectors, but we have also completed assignments in the leisure, manufacturing, media, brand communications, marketing and not-for-profit sectors.

We have associates in the UK, USA and Hong Kong who provide additional research when required, and who carry out face-to-face interviews on our behalf, with local candidates.

HR consulting is a diverse area, covering many aspects of human resources management, such as policies, staff retention, employer branding and the overarching strategies that drive the human aspects of organisations. Allied to this is our experience in training and conference and workshop facilitation. Ian Dunbar has a wealth of lecturing, training and workshop facilitation experience in areas such as HR practice, talent acquisition strategies, business strategy, decision making, banking, and leadership development.

In addition to our full-service search services, we offer a modular approach to recruitment that allows clients to tailor the level of service to their own requirements. Our recruitment services are applicable to an individual vacancy or a sustained, structured campaign to recruit large numbers of people.

In addition to our board search service, Ian Dunbar, as a graduate of the AICD, is available, provided there are no conflicts of interest, for appropriate non-executive directorships.

Working with numerous candidates over many years, Ian has a strong track record in identifying future leaders and advising existing leaders.
